Do you accept health insurance? 

Yes, we are currently accepting Aetna and Cigna. We will need your insurance information on file. We are collaborating with Headway for insurance billing. To verify your insurance, you must register on the correspondent platform, complete the required forms, and add a payment method.

What is the cancellation policy? 

Notice must be given, and cancellation confirmation from Zen Behavioral Health, LLC must be received, at least 48 hours prior to any cancellation, otherwise you will be charged in full for services. 


How long is each session? 

Your initial consult is 60 minutes; subsequent sessions are 30 minutes. 

What is your late policy?

All appointments will start promptly. After 10 minutes of no-show given a prior scheduled appointment, the appointment is canceled and considered a full session.  

What is your medication policy? 

Medication prescriptions, if needed, will be given electronically. Under no circumstances are we able to extend or replace a given prescription. 

What is your communication policy? 

Emails and phone calls will be responded to within 24 business hours. Email and phone communication is limited solely to concise communication of administrative issues such as scheduling appointments/payments. We are unable to discuss treatment or session-specific content via email/phone. In the event of an emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

What forms do I require as a new patient? 

Prior to your first appointment, you will be given a secure link to complete Notice of Privacy Practice, Consent Forms, and Intake Questionnaire to Zen Behavioral Health, LLC. electronically.
